Each fall a group of inner-city youth join the Circle of Voices theatre group at The Saskatchewan Native Theatre Company. This year's lead actor, Jared, is a hip-hop MC and first-time actor. As part of the program he has given up alcohol and drugs and this has made a big difference in his life. As we watch the show come together, we meet the cast and their inspiring mentor, Kennetch Charlette. Kennetch provides a strong dose of traditional wisdom and street-wise insight. As opening night draws near, tensions rise. Will they mount a successful production or will things fall apart completely? This episode explores the role of creativity and tradition in the process of growing up and reaching your potential.

What Kennetch says in that video is really inspiring - words to live by.
Thank you, Circle of Voices for your wonderful theatre group. You do a terrific job, keep up the great work. I hope to hear more about your shows in the future.
This is a great program. It would be fantastic if it could be offered throughout the province. Are there any plans for expansion?
